“What a place! Duh I was speechless for almost 15 minutes and that's a record for me as I explored the artwork, architecture and beauty of the house! I am so grateful for the opportunity. My family is still thanking me and everyone is asking how I found it! I say, God brought me there.... and they know it's true. We had such fun, and truly appreciated our time at the lake. WE all loved it, and slept very well on the futons, which surprised me as well. I never thought they could be so comfortable. I had a great time with my brother at Lucas and kayaking with the children, for hours. The drum circle was small but meaningful, with my sister from Cortland, her friend, and dog who visited for a lake swim and fish, and my family only. I have to tell you my body is tingling with joy just talking about it! We have great pictures. I'll pass on to you if you want. I am so glad that I searched the finger lakes and found your excusive resort, and had the chance to video tape all my kids and sister hoola-hooping in your yard, talk about hysterical. We made a beautiful fish on the cedar plank and barbequed all sorts of tasty treats, as well. It suited our family so well. We all have you to thank for providing such respite for the lovers of the land and water that we are! God I could go on forever...but I'm sure you have heard this before. If not, I'm glad I can be the one to tell you. I brought some spearimint home with me! Even though I have some here, it seems special coming from Krassimira...and will bring me back there in my mind. Anyway, I took care of the place, and I bless God for it. I watered the garden, and enjoyed tea with my sisters. I left a note, but I wanted to leave you a gift, so it is under the sink in the upstairs main bathroom. I also left a cedar wood for you in the kitchen for you to try to grill on and some merlot. Thanks for the wine, nice welcome! It was delicious. I will talk to you soon my dear friend who is obviously talented in all facets of living. I am amazed at what you have done, and how incredibly you have been blessed. I can see you are a scholar and lover of life from your portfolio of books in your study, and I am so glad you have a beautiful woman by your side to share it with. Too bad for the rest of the world, but most deservedly for you. “ (Diane, June 2005).
“I suspect word-of-mouth is the best form of advertisement. Perhaps I might say that in my search for Shangri-La, I found it just outside Ithaca! … Quiet, peaceful, heavenly spot. Perfect for what I needed” (Allison May 2005).
“My best friends all came and had the most wonderful time. The kitchen, porch, and fire pit had the amazing quality of drawing people in to a warm, cozy and happy hanging-out environment. The house is beautiful and wonderfully maintained. Everything is beautiful: the location, house, woods and nice owner, fabulous décor! Thank you so much for sharing it with me for my graduation”. (Sally April 2005).
“Your house is a credit to you the detail and work you have but into it has made it an extraordinary house. I must admit that the photo's on the Internet do not do your house any justice. It is by far one of the nicest house that I have seen. Thank you again for sharing it with us.” (Aidan from Ireland, June 2004)
"I just wanted to thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful home this past weekend. We found the atmosphere peaceful and relaxing. The kids had a great time hiking and the scenery (particularly this time of year with the leaves changing) was spectacular." (Genine, guest along with the Jo & Jen family, October 2004)
“I had a lot of fun at your house. The water was very nice. I liked the fire pit the best!” (Treme, age 9, together with a picture)
“Thank you again for being such a good host... Perhaps though you could mail us the sauna as [we] miss it.” (Bruria, Spring 2004)
“We had a really great time and just wished we had had more time in the house itself. It really is an amazing house and provided the perfect setting for our group” (Emily, hosting a wedding, August 2004)
“We found you by chance on the Internet and we cannot believe our good luck". (Doug & Rebecca, July 2004)
“Did I enjoy my stay? Oh, my did I ! It was absolutely wonderful, relaxing, inspiring, all the positive adjectives of the world could not match up with my stay... and YESSSS I would tell my very good friends about Krassimira Woods... although I would love to just keep it to myself and let it be a sort of Brigadoon, if you will. Krassimira Woods--spectacular... what a wonderful place you have there.... the woods, the house, the wood floors, the tile work, the VIEW, the lake, the hammock, the sauna... it was more than I dreamed for... I am in love with the house and with the surroundings.... don't you ever sell that house or any part of the land without contacting me first... please promise me this! To make my vacation more enjoyable I would stay longer... actually, I would stay... I love that area but Krassimira is a gem of a house/woods/lands/lakefront... I am in love. You have a new friend in Miami... I'll be back in the area soon... hoping October for the change of leaves... thanks again!” (Lula, June 2004 and and and & & & ).
